Has Stenson ever won a major, pal?
No. He was runner up to Phil at Muirfield in 2013 and I think he might have finished a distant 3rd or 4th when Harrington won at Birkdale in 2008. Not sure whether he’s ever got in the shake up in the other three majors as I don’t pay much attention to golf outside of the Open, the Ryder Cup and the Olympic Games.

This is sensational stuff, Stenson is -3 through 6 but Phil is -4 through 6. Both tied on -15. JB Holmes and Andrew Johnston joint third, eight shots back on -7.
Best score in the clubhouse is -3 as well, Micklesons experience will see him through.
Phil has been quite wayward off the tee but as ever its his incredible short game digging him out of trouble again and again. Stenson is a very tidy player.
