The Open

I have no problem with you not heading up to Portrush, pal

It’s just really bizarre that you’d have even been thinking of doing so considering you i) seem to hate Lowry and ii) have been constantly badmouthing the tournament yesterday and today and clearly have no appreciation for the nuances of links golf

I was going up for a piss up. A few friends of mine are up there. You don’t Have any friends so you probably wouldnt understand.

Much of what happens at Augusta is reminiscent of crazy golf

it’s not. It’s the only permanent major venue for a reason, it’s a great track and the players love it.

The players also loved Portrush.

Getting into a slanging match is beyond ridiculous. The average golfer wouldn’t break 120 on either

You seem really needy and desperate for a piss up

No wonder you weren’t invited

A few posts back you were demonising Lowry for having a few drinks after winning the Open, calling him “a disgrace”

Now you’re telling us you were desperate to head up to Portrush “for a piss up”

Sounds like your “friends” had a lucky escape that you didn’t - you’d have been some buzz killer

My brother was behind the 18th green at Portrush yesterday FYO

Any stories of disgruntled locals tut tutting at the abundance of tricolours? Just a pity the orange cunts weren’t marching yesterday.

You made my point for me in the previous post

Augusta is reminiscent of crazy golf, specifically the greens and the banks near the water

At the 16th green players often have to aim at 90 degree plus angles away from the hole

It’s not a fair test because balls which land on the green can easily end up in the water

Respected CBS golf commentator Gary McCord was banned from Augusta for life for correctly stating that the greens behaved as if they were “bikini waxed”

That’s fascist - you’d never see that kind of thing from the R&A who are big women’s libbers

Also, your post is killing the buzz here

This discussion is about affirming the superiority of links golf over parkland golf

Links is German for left - the term was coined by the German communist Karl Liebknecht in early 1916 when he played a round at Ballybunion with Sir Roger Casement while organising the transfer of German arms for the Easter Rising

That’s the type of golf I can get behind

I enjoy socialising is that not perfectly normal for somebody of my age?

Who’s his best friend?

Some guy he grew up with that was screwed over by pp

I think your problem is that others don’t enjoy socialising with you

That’s probably because you object to others enjoying themselves

If people don’t enjoy my company there’s little I can do about it. I’ve enough friends. Can you have too many friends or too little ? I’m not so sure.

I’d say you have 104 friends m8

I’d say you have zero.

Good response
