It’s a dark day in club GAA if a county man can’t referee some of the game

How many weddings has he had so far this year? It must be fast approaching 3 at this stage

I know @Bandage is lurking in the foliage there somewhere

Spotted Paul ‘Paulie’ O’Connell this morning. I stopped at the pedestrian crossing by Groody roundabout in Limerick to let Paul and his dog cross the road.

I’m not sure if it’s the innate politeness of the Irish or some kind of post-colonial subservience but he did what I would have done in a similar situation and gave a big salute.

I think his dog was some kind of labradoodle type thing. POC had a takeaway coffee and was wearinf shorts and a IRFU jacket.

Side note - a pal of mine is friends with his Mrs and went to the wedding. Confirmed that Peter ‘Claw’ Clohessy and Mick ‘Gaillimh’ Galway are two turbo cunts.

Ok , this angers me a lot

How did you know it was a coffee and not a matcha

Like why always assume its bean water

Apologies. Some kind of environmentally unfriendly cup for hot beverages was in his hand. As someone who doesn’t drink hot beverages, I haven’t a fucking clue what it was

I saw both Pat Shortt and Andy Farrell in The Old Spot having a roast last weekend. Happened to be sitting at the table next to Pat Shortt who was with presumably his daughter, not the influencer one. Pat seemed in good spirits.

I turned to my companion to see if she recognised him and looked back up to see Andy Farrell staring at me from a table across the room who presumably thought I was talking about him.

Found the roast itself fairly overrated and bland enough.

Reporting for Drury Duty:

All spotted on Drury St in the last hour.

Comedian Jarlath Regan dressed like a US High school teenager holding court with two women on the pavement. He was delighted with my positive feedback of his recent gig in Draiocht Blanchardstown last Friday, which I attended.

From my vantage point ayting a turkey Caesar from Moreso, I spotted Con o’Callaghan and a female companion heading towards Wicklow St. Con was scanning the street like he would Croke Park before performing a back door cut on Lee Keegan or Jason Foley. He was wearing a large rain coat and waterproof bottoms so may have jumped off a Dublin bike earlier from the IFSC. He had a good look at Moreso but his partner kept him walking on the straight and narrow to be ready to destroy Boden on Sunday.

As I departed I spotted DJ, chef, food reviewer and general pain in the hole, Marcus O’Laoire on the tables outside Industry & Co with a buggy and a fellow ginger. He had on an oversized shirt and black cap and was looking around to see if people recognised him. Sorry pal - the two above are ahead of you.

I toddled around to Dunnes for an affordable soft drink and went for the strawberries and cream Pepsi which was surprisingly good.

Gaillimh, definitely. I thought the Claw was all right though?

Dublin Gaelic Football manager Ger Brennan in SuperValu Sutton at lunchtime today. Ger was in the self scan section. I had a large shop and was queuing in the SuperScan lane. Ger seemed to manage the self scan without assistance, which is always a sign of a competent individual. As far as I could see he purchased a packet of cream crackers and a bottle of lucozade which struck me as an odd combination.

:astonished:

My friend had his bike robbed once in Dublin and all that was left behind was an empty bottle of lucozade and half a packet of cream crackers

No nutrition in cream crackers.

We are trying to keep the young lad away from them but he loves them.
