Day with a 331 yard 3 wood drive on the 16th, followed by a 202 yard 8 iron to 6 feet. Misses the straight in putt for eagle. Funny old game.
Poor old Knox, from -8 to -2 on a par 3, and then had to endure rapturous applause from the drunken crowd when he finally hit the green.
The average lag putt today ended up more than 4 feet from the hole. Day said during his round he was concentrating on tying to keep it within 3 ft on a 10ft putt. If it’s more of the same tomorrow literally anything could happen.
How would they go about slowing the greens overnight?
