TFK AFC plays its last ever match on Thursday. @Bandage[/USER] @[USER=15]ClarkeyCat[/USER] @[USER=56]LetterkennyMan[/USER] @[USER=24]farmerinthecity all quit when things got tough.

We’ve managed to fulfill our fixtures using ringers but it sadly comes to an end this week.

Barring a late rescue by the fans it’s all over.

A sad, undignified end. I’m fucking gutted.

There was even a whatsapp group setup to discuss a few post-season drinks and I was excluded from it. That was the last straw for me. This club is not worth saving.

A core group of supporters saw this coming a long way off and have been calling for Rocko’s head for a number of years. Winning soft cups in low divisions glossed over the fact that Rocko was running the club into the ground.
It kills me that we have been proved right.

Tinnions leadership was required a log time ago, sadly the great man was ignored, sent to New York on Mickey Mouse errands.

Sean Quinn said he watched his empire begin from a single truck on the road to owning the Belfry.

We begun our astro careers with a DART ticket to Raheny, and jumping the barriers at Pearse Station because we hadn’t paid a sufficient fair. We finished it with a selection of BMWs, an Audi and automatic Nissan in the car park in Sandymount.

I think it’s time to leave well enough alone. Unlike Quinn.
