The Prestigious Europa League 2019/2020 thread

I backed a Sevilla/Shaktar double. This is a good game. United are playing well, end to end

Lovely goal from Martinez, fantastic from Barella.

How did Inter not double it there?

Inter will win tonight by whatever they want tonight if Shakhtar donā€™t turn up

Itā€™s amazing what motivation can do for a player.

Lukaku was a guy who wasnā€™t trying a leg in the EPL but now heā€™s gone to a proper club in a proper league with a proper manager, he looks lean, hungry, motivated and such a better player.

Barella is the best player on the pitch.

Ah here
A pass went a half yard behind him there and he couldnā€™t back up the truck to get near it

Heā€™s been very unimpressive from what Iā€™ve seen. Shakhtar are a lovely team but always hard up against the anti football

Lovely goal from Lukaku.

The EPL fanboys are seething.

Conte looks a new man at Inter.

Chelsea were draining the life out of him.

Conte is a serial winner.

When @ChairmanDan said he was a failure in Europe, itā€™s almost inevitable that Inter will win the Europa League now. Wasnā€™t it @GeoffreyBoycott who said Conte was a Mickey Mouse manager getting found in the EPL after a few games and he went on to romp the title in his first season with a side who finished 10th the year before.

WOW.

Lukaku destorys them there.

He is in some shape.

Lukaku one off R9ā€™s 34 goals in his debut season.

Heā€™s gone for a sit down now

Who was managing Inter Milan when they exited the Champions League ???

ā€œMiguelā€ knows the score

I think its 5 cracks Conte has had at the European Cup, 2 with Juventus, 1 with Chelsea, 2 with Internazionale. He failed to get his side out of the group stages on 3 occasions out of 5, losing out variously on 2nd place in the group to Galatasary, Tottenham and Dortmund. There was one quarter final appearance with Juventus back in 2013 and a last 16 exit with Chelsea. Its a very underwhelming record in the premier competition of European club foorball.

Conte doesnā€™t seem to be a serial winner when it comes to the European Cup, despite managing three elite sides who are all former winners of the tournament.
