Tounekti has been bolloxed for the last while too, couldn’t run back with the wing back ahead of the goal. And Balikwisha not deemed good enough to bring on…after only a month at the club.

Its the same lack of urgency in the Celtic team tonight that’s been there this season…Poor stuff.

It’s not far off crisis mode now. An absolute mess from top to bottom…& completely self inflicted from a position of strength. The move to 3 at the back for the second half had a positive impact & there was some better play (& the bizarre VAR intervention) but it was still a bit incoherent & unbalanced (Maeda as a wing back etc). Lost momentum after their keeper made the brilliant save from Tounekti, became more ragged, didn’t have the bench depth to maintain the pressure & then fell away near the end. They don’t have enough goal threat at all - another blank tonight. A load of sloppy individual mistakes & some questionable displays overall, & some of the previous mainstays looking either finished or uninterested (Schmeichel, CCV, Tierney, McGregor). What a chance for Hearts to go on & win the league. Would we need to qualify for the Conference League?
