The prestigous Europa League thread 2012/ 2013

Undeserved

You have to say that over the two legs Inter were by far the better side and should have gone through.

Spurs should have put this to bed on the first leg. Inter are shite. Better team qualified.

I’ve said it before on this thread, but I really like Dembele. A very decent operator.

Inter were missing twelve players tonight and they absolutely battered Spurs.

It occurred to me while watching the 39 year old Javier Zanetti cope effortlessly with the 25 year old Aaron Lennon during that match, that Lennon doesn’t really deserve to share the same pitch as the excellent Argentinian.

Spot on mate. They’ll take plenty of solace from that.

+1

Cassano also proved he was a much better player than Bale tonight.

The head-to-head between EPL clubs and Serie A clubs this season stands at:

Italy P8 W3 D2 L2 F12 A 10

Splendid mate. Any thoughts on the monkey chants directed at the black Spurs players tonight?

What monkey chants?

The ones that sounds like monkeys chanting mate.

Didn’t hear any, presume they were directed at Bale if there were any.

Surprising that.

That’s not much of a stat, in fairness, Tots. There’s only a game in it…

Superiority, the upper hand.

Torres is back. Again.

Newcastle snatch a winner in the 4th minute of injury time :o

Torres misses a penalty he’s gone again.

Juventus and Lazio remain the only two unbeaten sides in this season’s European club cup competitions still in contention this season.

Dortmund are also unbeaten I might add.
