180kg deadlift and 150kg zercher squat in the bag.
Era you’d want to be hitting 2x bodyweight on the deadlifts.
Sorry Eddie Hall
I did this with two 24kg bells today.
Only got 8 rounds and i tapped out. Was feeling pretty tired before starting so not a bad effort
Did a variation of the below today… where he’s using heavy and doing 1 set and resting for 30 /40 seconds… i used 20s and did 5 sets and then did 5 medicine ball slams after them. Did 8 rounds in total with one minute rest in-between.
I’m getting addicted to the kettlebells … it’s the right mix of cardio and strength training combined and they’re perfect for short workouts… no gowling in the gym for an hour or so
See the bit before he drops them… thats the bit thats gonna fuck your back.
And the bit wherebyou snap it back over your wrist… thatll make you take off the fancy sports watch you have and leave it somewhere and then think someone in the gym has nicked it and youll be pissed cos its the second one your wife bought you that you’ve lost/has been nicked after the one yoou got nicked at the sister in laws wedding abroad when you fell asleep after a heap of pints…
Possibly…
The ability to sprint is a leading indicator of vitality Good advice here for lads who want to add a bit of fun to their sessions - add in skipping and build up to striding - benefits are enormous and close to sprinting but more or less risk free injury wise . Good for kids sports too to build speed etc.
I see Brian Lee of Chopped fame has set up a new discipline called Tryka piggy backing on the Hyrox concept. He may get a legal letter or two in the post.
Revelate is really good!
Sure aren’t all these fads derivative
Teach a man to hyrox and he’ll train for a day. Teach him to kettlebell and he’ll train for life
The boats @gilgamboa
Did I hear you started wearing dog tags when you work out?
“This workout can kill you. I’m serious.”

The Katie price endorsed ones…it will firm up your boobies anyway
Fuck hyrox. You cant own a type of exercise ffsake… apart from bike row ski… and curves…
Any good flexibility/movement videos on Youtube that would be a free resource cc @caoimhaoin. Basically stuff to improve hip and joint flexibility.
I see a couple of them on Instagram like Movement 101, Tom Morrison and GMB but all charge a significant fee
This fella throws up stuff regularly

Here’s a few basic moves to do
Other than that just do kettlebells
I don’t know how motivated you are but if you’re like me you’ll do fuck all yourself even with the best of intentions. So in an effort to combat this gap in my motivation I signed up for scheduled personal training classes. I’m nearly a year in and it’s been a game changer in terms of energy levels, flexibility, posture, improved sleep, strength and just feeling 8/10 on most days.
The only down side is I can only do early morning classes and I worked a lot with the US so I end up on a lot of calls from 4pm to 6pm and the tiredness creeps in heavy enough from 4pm onward.
Any lad over 40 who isn’t doing reformer Pilates may as well forget about it.
