The Public Transport Plan Announcement Thread

The driver of the 6 bus here has taken the wrong route much to the consternation of some of his passengers. He has taken the H3 route instead of the 6 route and will have to take an illegal turn to rectify matters.

Make sure you’re downstairs.

I always found downstairs too eventful.

Every day the train is fucking delayed.

I’m in Monasterevin now and the driver has gotten out and gone for a walk.

Sorry tp hear thaat but you chose to move to portlaoise mate.

I know. I just felt the times Irish rail advertised would be someway related to when the train would actually arrive

Years of dart travel has taught me to expect nothing of the sort.

It’s small delays mostly, in fairness. Say 7 mins or so. But it’s more or less every day.

They are within NTA “limits” where they classify that a train arriving at the destination within 10 minutes of the scheduled arrival time as “punctual”. Oireland is one of the only countries in the EU with such a long limit. It is 3 minutes in most countries.

You could learn a lot from him.

He might have been bursting

He was bursting out of his shirt anyway

Dubliners also get the pleasure of a bus driver switch mid journey accompanied by a 5 minute chat.

Anyone use the Red Cow park and ride regularly? Thinking of trying it tomorrow instead of Irish Rail’s lucky dip service
