Here’s an ethical dilemma of the type we’ve basically ignored so far. If people in care homes generally have a life expectancy of 6 months, should they get the first round of vaccines ahead of say 75 year old plus people, who are not in care homes, who are at risk but would generally have a much higher life expectancy
Whatever about a philosophical debate, I think it’s clear our health authorities are not interested in engaging with any decision making analysis beyond what the immediate and unadjusted risk is.
Would it make sense to get an injection of all of the different vaccines, just to cover all bases?
I was reading there that they’re now postulating that if you get covid, that your immunity to Covid wears off after about 6 months, and your susceptible to reinfection again. So we’ll likely be taking the these vaccines for the rest of our lives.
Time to buy some stock in Pfizer et al.
