Your problem, and it is a major problem, is that you judge everything from an emotive moral pedestal that essentially excludes you from having a normal adult conversation.
There is tonnes emerging that you can see why the DPP didnāt touch this and a pile more that probably hasnt been disclosed.
I donāt think he spent the night in the hotel. They both slept for a while after the first bit of riding but I think he left the hotel Sunday evening with the other girl who lived out in Naas
Iāve been listening to it. I struggle to see how she wins the case at this point, not saying she wasnāt raped or anything but thereās a lot of extenuating circumstances in McGregors favour. Presume this lady will be liable for all her own legal fees if she loses which could surely approach a million?

Them arriving at the hotel in late morning and some of them departing before nightfall seems to be confusing a lot of people with the way itās being reported.
Itās plausible she was raped. Itās plausible also that they are both telling the truth. But thereās loads there that would have this thrown out of a criminal case not to mind the current civil one.
Yeah it may have done alright. But being on a three day binge doesnāt mean someone canāt be raped, it might even make it more likely. And it doesnāt make them any less deserving of justice. So if that is the reason for the decision as you suggest, I think thatās poor judgement and reasoning from the DPP.
Iām trying to remain impartial but i do have sympathy for Mrs Hand and i hope Mr McGregor is brought down a peg or two but thatās not due process in any form of court case.
I was only replying on the principle. The poster above reckoned the DPP chose not to prosecute because, he said, she was on a two day binge at the time. My point is thatās no reason not to prosecute.
lol what you fucking eejit? As usual your desire for these allegations to be true and for this woman to win the case has clouded any rational or pragmatic thinking on your behalf of the evidence at hand.
From what Iāve heard so far Iād make it 60-40 that McGregor wins. I think she will need enough jurors to despise him that they convict regardless of doubt .
