Never heard of Ibogaine treatment for addiction. Not saying it doesn’t work, but if it did, 12 step groups would die a death overnight. Sounds like a quick fix attempt to an issue that requires a lifetime of root and branch work. I’ve met many famous people in recovery, and their challenges are definitely different to non famous members.

A lot of instances of fake shaman sexually assaulting tourists while off their chops too. The ayahuasca trip gets messy allegedly. Buckets are provided for the inevitable shitting yourself and vomiting everywhere

It must be a serious trip… ive taken lots of Irish mushrooms and done them a couple of times in Thailand and you’d get some stomach flutters and the odd empty reach… this shit must be off the scale if it induces that response.
There’s meant to be a good doco following a chap who was diagnosed with cancer, went to south or Central America, did a blast of it, and if I remember the description correctly, spent the trip experiencing these demons clawing at the body part that the cancer was in, and returned to an appointment in North America, and the cancer had disappeared. Now, pinch of salt. Could be staged, could have been something else that made it disappear. Whatever. However, I feel the pharma companies have worked hard to convince the world that western medicine is the only medicine, and that of which has been around for 1000’s of years is hocus pocus, and they’ve done a good job. I’ve no doubt that there is healing in many of the non-western medicines and practices.
They found a fungus last year thriving in chernobyl … it takes in the poisonus radiation and turns it into energy for growth.
We don’t know the half of it.
