Have either of you come across the Japanese band Fishmans? Fairly obscure dub band from the 90s. If you like this track off one of their earlier albums, you should be able to find the live album 98.12.28 on any of the streaming sites (its on Amazon and also Spotify I think). The live album closes with a 41 minute version of their magnum opus called Long Season, it’s a serious piece of music.

Not a lot of live footage around, this is from 1997 after they had been joined by the astounding multi instrumentalist Hanzi (that’s her on the keyboards).

Sadly the singer Shinji Sato passed away in 1999 of a heart ailment. The remaining members of the band have reunited occasionally since, this is from 2005, a segment from the aforementioned album long track Long Season. As with the previous 1998 live album. Hanzi is the star of the set, laying down the piano and keyboard tracks, and then playing accordion and violin solos. In further sadness she passed away from cancer a year after this was recorded.

No I have never heard of them, sorry.

Never heard of them buddy. Very 80s reggae/UB40 esque even sound to it
