Lowry only lets himself down with his outbursts. I’m embarrassed as an Irishman that the gimps on Sky are apologising for his language with the regularity they do. As simple as that.
A great guy and a source of mirth when the ship docks but it’s currently in choppy waters.
I think of poor oul’ Triggs when Lowry has a bad day, not easy being the dog of a sportsman.

You say that but we’re now into 3+ generations of media robots in sport overall. People lament the flaws, the crudeness and above all the honest human reactions of sportspeople. Nothing jolts people of low attention span back into the present quicker than a “we want to apologise for any foul language you might have heard” from some privately-educated Sky Sports bore.
