Even better game than yesterday. Gutted for England. Rugby league is backboned by second and third generation Irish. I’ve met a few of the players who are invariably gentle quiet men. Sad to see lads who know nothing about the sport, its history or its roots from backwaters like laois gloating. Great performance from Samoa but they are stacked with NRL players, not that lads would know.
I’m especially pissed off as the final will now be a non-event.

England had a complete meltdown down today. A few of them turned up but so many of them did so much wrong today it was incredible to watch. Fellas making basic errors or going for hero plays and making a complete mess of it. Samoa managed their game brilliantly and fully deserve to be in the final.

England would have had the better chance of beating the Aussies in the final with their grinding game.
Samoa will be valiant but won’t get within 12 pts for a finish I’d wager.
