They deserved a few bob for all the great things they did for Rovers. They signed some great players for them like Giles and Dunphy. Rovers could really do with someone like Louis at the helm now when you look at how poorly they’ve been doing lately.
Rovers fans are an ungrateful bunch.
The Kilcoynes’ bankroll them for years and build a contender, the fans then disappear and cripple the club.
So the fans who couldn’t be arsed going to games then spend years vilifying the Kilcoynes for wanting out before the Council rolls over and gives them a free stadium.
Now they take money from vulture funds for player purchases yet they would still boo Louis Kilcoyne’s name if it was announced at a game.
