Yeah it’s a nonsense. It gets big ratings on French FTA and they pay good money for it. It was always the English moping about Europe despite the fact that similar to here it drove most interest in club rugby.
Remember those dullards claiming that it was the likes of Sale driving ratings for Sky. Just not backed up by facts. The highest non BBC rated final was Leinster v Northampton. The next year when Ulster played Leinster in the final it got the exact same rating as the All English 2007 final. That was just for the U.K. too. Those idiots completely turned Sky off rugby when the competition was growing every year and getting pushed like mad by them.

Laughably biased commentary from Austin Healy here.
Nice 3pm kick off for the Toulouse game, delighted with that. Train; get off at Dun Laoghaire for 10:15, up to Wetherspoons, few pints of Murphy’s and the breakfast, spend the bones of about €30, match, away home, back at north station for 9. Delightful!
Beat Toulouse hopefully, off up to the final with my €35 West Stand upper ticket
