Apparently Connacht probably will be in the European Cup next season - it’s only fitting that this uncertainty should be part of the most convoluted competition known to man.
Be better off putting them in ahead of the Welsh clubs.
Aye Connacht with their southern hemisphere rejects, Leinster rejects and 4k fans would be a major loss to the competition.
Ah now… Sportsground is atmospheric at least, compared to Llanelli’s ground and the actual 4,000 are swallowed up in a stadium that’s way too big.
Connacht mithering the sons of Ulster above in Ravenhill
Ulster finally put a few phases together as soon as I said it.
Carty edges Connacht back out to a 15-10 lead
Brainless box-kicking from Marmion
Connacht just about hold out
Great win for Connacht but serious questions need to be asked of what is going on in Ulster. Stadium built for them, quality Leinster imports, good quality foreign imports and a good player base. IRFU need to go in there like they did with Munster.
Delighted for Connacht. A very likeable team tbf.
You know you’ve basically described Munster there as well, right?
Silencing the lads on here who were saying they should be disbanded a few weeks ago. They tried to fold them back around 2003 but Connacht fought back. Connacht into a semi now with Leinster and the saffer teams I assume?
Yeah, the commentator said they’ve a trip to SA ahead of them. They remind me of Munster from the 90’s before all the bullshit.
Connacht should be folded
And Connacht
No stadium built for them (yet).
They have a grand little home now that is in process of being redeveloped
Will crown them.
I’d argue that Ulster are better set now. Their stadium was basically free and the school system is better.
Big difference in the attention given to coaching and administration vs Munster but I think Ulster has always been more autonomous.
