Only watched the first half but they shoulda been further ahead. Cruasaders as always in the final but good to see them progress. Especially as the sunwolves have been wound up for next year

Noteworthy that Sevu Reece is going to end this Super rugby season as top try scorer. You may recall Connacht had signed him and he was due to play there this season but they terminated the contract when he gave his girlfriend a few clips.

Interesting to see if the All Blacks will take him to RWC

Was a top top top bit of scouting from Connacht originally but also an extremely principled approach to cut him loose #valuesnotvalue

Out and out finisher. Lack of defensive capability never stopped em picking Savea, Naholo etc… might be a decent shout for top try scorer alright because he prob wouldn’t be front line and would start against the minnows

They are a serious outfit. Lot of whinging about them at the minute that they are a de facto international side playing in a club competition but thats horseshit. What are Leinster/Saracens/Crusaders only the same…was a genius move by Argentinean union tbf

The Anti-Rugby Football Thread

Very mixed. They made a decision on set up that they would play a style to most benefit the national side so they literally run the ball at all costs all the time from everywhere. Great to watch but mixed for results. I think the intent was that first few seasons would build up fitness and skills to levels required to go toe to toe with NZ across a wider base of players and next few seasons in lead in to RWC they could work on more practical approach

And here we are. A well executed plan

Has it been mentioned on here anywhere about Leinster rugby striding away from the rest of the islands provinces? This seems another big step that way

Leinster have confirmed a full-time move to the Aviva Stadium for the 2024/25 season

With the RDS set to undergo some refurbishment later this year, the province have announced that a majority of their fixtures next season will take place at the Lansdowne Road venue

It is said that ‘a number of games’ will also take place at Croke Park over the course of the campaign.
