The School, College & University Competitions Thread (another thread gone west)

Disappointed with the standard of hurling on display so far but it’s a decent spectacle
Thought Kieran’s would pull away when they scored a few in a row around the 15th minute but they’re poor, and Ard Scoil look to have their measure

Brilliant block there.

Something like 3-14 to 2-15.

Naas scored a goal with three or four mins left to put them four up. Then tacked on another point to lead by 5.

Brendan’s scored a goal in injury time with the additional time up to reduce it to two. He allowed the kick out but Naas won it and brought it up field to kick a wide before the final whistle went.

Would’ve been nice to see the lads’ clubs named on that programme.

Better team won, although SKC wasted a lot of chances in second half. Well done ASR.

Super for my alma mater I played in the schools first ever Harty match against Nenagh in 1989 a special thought for the late Liam Kennedy who kept things going with the hurling in the school in the dark days

Well done ASR. SKC just not good enough unfortunately.
