He wonāt last long as an intercounty hurler without it. Far better to have that bit of devilment than be a nice hurler without the aggression.
McGrath was top class, at the start of his career he was playing in some pretty poor Waterford teams but Gleeson looks like possibly surpassing him.

Him and Dunford both dismissed on straight reds within 24 hours. Waterford showing this competition the respect it deserves.
Whatever Gleeson is, heās a long fucking way to go before heāll surpass McGrath.
I think that Austin is ahead of where Ken was at this stage of his career. He is a potentially phenomenal talent. He needs mentoring on a couple of key areas but if they can be addressed he will be a great.
That wasnāt denied Fagan, what I said was he has some way to go to surpass him. Donāt see the point in comparing him even, he has enough pressure as it is. Some hack like Jackie Cahill will be writing stories comparing them next week as a result of whatās been posted here, mark my words.
