Go to bed you flute.
Can you imagine a world where 40k people would be allowed into a gig in Phoenix Park (but it has to be a particular genre of music that the politicians liked) while they allowed 5k into the match in Croke Park?
There would be war. My problem here is BB was staunch LIDTF last year. He was unbearable tbf.
Everything should be allowed but this finger pointing and if I can’t do x when should you do y. Instead call for Everything to open.
spud hockey fan that can go to games is pissed off that people who like the arts who cant go to gigs have the temerity to point out the double standard
is that the point of your post?
We’ve said it before …the GAA have really shown their true colours in covid …Over entitled bunch of wankers …
He did call for everything open if you read his other tweets. He is dead right with his tweet too. There is no way gigs cannot continue to not happen after yesterday, before, during and after the match.
On limericks greatest day you seem to be the one that’s seething. What time of the day did you post this?
The solution is not to reduce the capacity of the 40k, the solution is to increase the capacity of the 5k.
Covid’s over man. Great to see people shaking hands and hugging each other again
There’s literally hundreds of threads for that sort of like bait.
People involved in the arts will be rightly seething at the double standards on operation yesterday
Will they really ?
In 2020 and 2021, the health experts said we needed over 70% of adults vaccinated to achieve herd immunity.
We have now over 88% of adults who have at least their first shot.
Time to give people back their freedom.
Yes they will.
Will they really ?
Yes. There are thousands and thousands of people out of work/income over past 18 months.
Literally!! Hundreds of threads for this shite
Of course they’d be angry, it’s shocking double standards
If so, they should not be seething at the GAA people.
They should be seething at the government and health advisory committees.
The GAA themselves can do very little about the scenes on Dorset St

Things to consider before coming to Croke Park
Q: What should I consider before attending a game in Croke Park in 2021?
Spectators must take responsibility for their own health and only attend the stadium if it is safe to do so. Please consider the following before purchasing a ticket:
- Spectators need to be aware that all the risks posed from Covid-19 cannot be eliminated; this includes attending GAA / Camogie & LGFA games. However, key safeguards have been put in place to reduce risks for spectators in the stadium.
- Spectators must not attend games if they display any symptoms of Covid-19 and instead should phone their GP and follow public health guidelines.
- Face masks are essential and must be worn at all times while attending games in Croke Park. (Exemption: Medical reasons and spectators U13).
- All spectators are advised to bring their own sanitizer.
- Can you travel safely to and from the stadium? Consider if there is suitable transport available for you to get there.
& not wearing masks in the ground?
There’s at least two lads wearing masks there.
