The underdog story is popular in all walks of life, particularly sports,
The whole country rejoiced in Limerick’s win and it’s driving them mad

again, you overestimate how many people care, i think 700k bothered watching this, people outside munster simply dont care

I thought Galway won.

I disagree, everybody was delighted for Limerick, you didn’t have to be a hurling fan, it was the story of the month.
The goodwill is tough for them to take, I don’t know why

tbh, i thought galway won

definitely not brought up at the water cooler tittle tattle

It’s doesn’t often happen to you but you’ve misjudged the mood here, Limerick are incredibly popular champions

It’s hard to know who is winning and losing with all the contrived draws.

The misfortunes wish we disliked them. But how could you hate a team that were on a 45 year famine and no threat to anyone until a few months ago. Its fantastic to see the bandwagon roll and the kids enjoy the celebrations. Its deeply satisfying as well for the couple of thousand GAA fans in Limerick

Hon the treaty

You’re easily bought.
I suppose now you’ll sate the Limerick lads now and proclaim that 2, 18 was a proper hurling year ?

Ah now don’t be foolish.

But yes, I’m easily bought. Generally with money.

How cheaply can a country be bought for? A tax write of for a plastic paddy.
