I definitely think there should be a discussion about this. I wouldnât mind giving some sort of pass to Howth or Malahide residents but people living in the likes of Killester or Fingal being able to freely move back and forth across the Liffey has never sat well with me.

My last trip to Dublin just before Xmas we were walking back to Houston and happened upon two junkies scrapping in the middle of the road.
The fella with the crutch was fortunate enough to get the upper hand but no real harm done.
Did we have a problem?

I think we can all agree, Dublin City Council are absolutely useless.
Itâs magical to see the footpaths with lumps of tar patching the areas where paving is missing.
