The Canteen
There’s a small Italian restaurant across the road called Bianconis, it’s in the row of shops beside the church car park. Nice place if you’re into Italian food. It’s been there for years.

Merrion Inn opposite does decent enough grub too
asa @tallback says, head over to the merrion inn (m1). the food is decent. otherwise, treat yourself to some time on dublin’s riviera and head out to dun laoghaire or dalkey

I can +1 on that. Spent far too much time in Vincents the last couple of years and the food there is very good pub food.

Another option is head down to Sandymount. Right beside Vincent’s. Lots of places and could go for a walk on the seafront
Merrion Inn is good. Bianconis is fine but overpriced. Gleesons on Booterstown avenue (5 mins drive) is very nice. Top class pub grub.
If you can, avoid trying to get in or out of it during rush hour. It’s a real black spot outside it.
