The Slot Machine šŸŽ° - Liverpool FC 2024/25 - Back on their perch

So we’re in agreement that outside of a situation where Klopp or Alonso became available then there’s nobody who’s necessarily any better than Arne Slot. Bournemouth and Palace are good teams but they finished 9th and 12th last season. Exotic versions of Alan Curbishley in the mid-00’s. Maybe the fact Glassner looks scouse might stand to him. I don’t think Inzaghi speaks English. That was referenced as an issue when he was linked with Man United last year.

Klopp drove incels on the internet absolutely demented. For their sake, better he stays in semi retirement

I’ve thought about it. They need Jose and the low block. Imagine the crowds. It would be feral. And Jose has unfinished business in the North West.

But could you imagine him destroying them for round 2…

I think Lego head looks like a great manager now.

No such thing as a sure thing unfortunately.

Lads, leave Jurgen alone, you nearly killed him the last time.

Could they go for Luis Enrique, or some ā€œunknownā€ Spanart.

Slot is in that nether region now where him being sacked is the only solution, it’s inevitable he will be sacked and it’s probably best for all parties if he is sacked, but he probably still hasn’t done enough to deserve being sacked.

It’s an awkward spot (Ten Hag stayed in this position for well over a year) but it’s just gotta be ridden out

Slot won a league with lads here proclaiming him a tactical genius on the back of beating united of all teams! The ratoath crew are very knowledgeable and insist Liverpool are not a sacking club. Not gonna happen mate.

Who was to know Kerkez was a roided up midget. Clubs like Bournemouth can take these risks.

They should let Van Dijk train the team. He probably has a view on it and it would allow him extra interview time.

It wouldn’t be the first time a 34 year old veteran became player-manager at Liverpool.

Surely lads were saying this guy was over-hyped for years? I browse another forum with a soccer thread and the lads over there had nothing good to say about him.

Think it was the way he carried himself. Always very composed and low-key arrogant.

For 4 years he was the best around… it’s cheap talk saying he is overrated. Played a tactical system that deplyed a tight rope of a very high line and won leagues and CLs doing it. Only the best can command that at the highest level…

Obviously, he’s slowing now and completely exposed as he has nothing in front or next to him.

He has that Dutch arrogance alright
