The Slot Machine 🎰 - Liverpool FC 2024/25 - Back on their perch

Surely that’s the end of Salah at Liverpool either way?

I think the plan was always to cash in this year. The timing is interesting… he’s off to AFCON in 2 weeks. He’s either had a whisper from Saudi or he doesn’t think Slot will be there when he comes back.

Take 50m for him and run for the hills

The footix are calling him mohammed again

Yeah mate- real interesting timing

I assume the locals are burning out his house and spray painting the word “rat” on his mural as we speak?

Brendan Rodgers has unfinished business at Anfield and his return would be greeted enthusiastically, at least by me.

Rogers at his best is better than Slott. Slott took a great team and slowed them down is all, which is what they needed for a year. Very very lucky guy.

Rodgers Linkedin shtick is suitable in certain situations. Not sure bringing back the red nets will cut the mustard this time. I think he’s in the frame for Spurs next. Made for the bright lights of London. Will be a Venables type figure giving good copy to the scribes

You’ve seen the tweet so

Big time. I’m not sure a modern manager would come out and say that. “You’re getting a ball of money every week. Play harder or fuck off out of it”

Meanwhile grown men in Ireland fawn over these cunts.

Fine him a weeks wages for talking out of class

Call his bluff. Tell him to sling his hook.

I was a great fan of daytime quiz show Call My Bluff on BBC during my college years. It was the era with Bob Holness of Blockbusters fame as host with Alan Coren & Sandy Toksvig as team captains. Terrific weekday entertainment around the turn of the millennium.
