No.

Arnie Slot is more like Brian Cowen, if Brian Cowen had been a short term success rather than an instant calamity.

I’ve a lot of sympathy for Arnie Slot here. God is always a hard act to follow. Wilfried Nancy is likely to discover that very soon, and Martin O’Neill was only in charge for five weeks. not nine years.

I’m not sure how many people expected Arnie to win the league in his first year, but he did. Regardless of Klopp having built the team, that’s an outstanding achievement.

Managing the end for an all time club legend who is no longer doing it is always a very tricky business.

When Arnie Slot gets sacked at some point over the next two months and hands over to Martin O’Neill while Jurgen Klopp decides whether he wants to go again or leave it to the soon to be sacked Xabi Alonso, he will leave with my thanks and best wishes.

He’s already been more of a success than I expected.

There won’t be any more success, but that was still more than I expected.

Ye can just copy, paste and edit bruideanns united posts and we’ll do the same for yere ones slagging united.

Klopp won one league title in ten years that doesn’t really count because it was behind closed doors.

Slot wins one league title in one season and he’s the problem.

Sort of sums up Liverpool as a club.

The carragher meltdown is utterly bizarre. He’s just made the situation ten times worse.

I’m not sure saying a player is getting old is criticism.

Are you of a a Liverpool persuasion? That’s a bit harsh on Slot. In fairness they had the league won with a month to spare and at the time it seemed far more logical to get the partying out of the way in early May. The players were all out in Dubai at the same time. He was widely praised for the dignity with which he conducted himself during the tragic summer too. The recruitment team which seemed to have given him the perfect transfer window have inadvertently left him in over his head as he ended up with too many egos and trying to put out fires everywhere. For context Klopp loved a good party as well. Albeit a German rock band are better company to bump into than Wayne Lineker.

He was left out for 7 whole days and slated the whole club.

What a little rat.

It was always going to happen at some point during his 2 year contract extension. Particularly when the club signed Isak, Wirtz and Ekitike to make it so crowded up front. The club will probably make a profit now on his €35 million fee from 2017. For what he was technically on his arrival he’s had an incredible career.

Jesus- he hasnt left yet- no need to stab him just yet

They should let him walk tomorrow for free.

You cant have that poison in a club.

Jones was lucky he didn’t gob on him.

The wha?

Gerrard, Barnes, Hansen, Suarez, Torres even Alonso were better in my time .

Dalglish and Keegan were before my time but older heads like @Chancer would say were far better.

No one had a major issue with Mohamed until he starting running to the press saying he shouldn’t have to fight for his place. The guy who ran to the press to get his 400k a week now thinks he doesn’t have to work… which vindicates him being dropped. Mohamed has disrespected his team mates, his manager and Liverpool Football Club.

You know a Club and its supporters are in turmoil on TFK when there are two threads being bumped with regards to it.
