One oh the greatest bands of all time in my view. Hugely influencial, there’s elements of punk, dance and even the Madchester scene in this. Of course it sounds class as well.

John Grant sang this before Midlake. It was the first time I’d heard it and was blown away by the live performance

Came across this. The Tipp Nicky lives or lived right beside the graveyard where many of my family members are buried. I’m told he’s a well alright sort for a Tipp sort.
This, by the way, is a seriously good song.
I’m a fan of that Stars collection above Bandage and have taken the trouble of downloading their work to date to give it a good listen to. Probably the first time I’ve clicked play on one of these videos in a long time, though I’m currently enduring some tinny sounding pink-coloured band that Thrawneen has since posted.
It’s a good song!
Don’t worry about Rocko Thrawneen.
He is constantly going on about how he doesn’t listen to any of the tunes in here anymore. My God he thinks Can are shite - sure why would you be bothering trying to educate him?
Thank you, Rocko. My rare ventures into this thread are the epitome of quality over quantity, as opposed to the likes of Farmer. I would recommend the second (Heart) and third (Set Yourself On Fire) of their five albums; I do enjoy the duet style interaction between Amy Millan and Torquil Campbell.
Another from Set Yourself On Fire:
