This is from one of Irish music’s lost classics. Davy Spillane and banjo player extraordinaire Bela Fleck on the title tune to Davy’s debut solo album Atlantic Bridge. Magic

Also giving Old Crow Medicine Show a lot of airtime.
I really like that Shins song.
I’m only a tourist in this thread but ignore the first 2 mins of this medley and the rest is class

Heard this today for the first time while out shopping and shazamed it, a class tune.

Good song farmer.
Lovely little tune this. Love the instrumental at the end.
I was obsessed with Phantom Limb when it came out. Love Simple Song just as much. Don’t think the Shins are amazing or anything but they’re capable of producing some seriously good tracks.
I was really taken by Simple Song and have been swatting up on The Shins having not been too familiar with their back catologue. I read that Phantom Limb was about a lesbian relationship - makes the title pretty witty.
Anyway, while I’m here, I may as well post this:

The last page of this thread has got really pretentious.
I have a Motorpsycho album from years ago - never thought I’d see them on this thread.
Isn’t it great?
