I like that song. Featured on the Sopranos on the show where Tony was having the nervous breakdown.
A Neil Young gem that you donât hear that much
For the Turnstiles

The Doors - Cars Hiss by my Window
To continue the Neil Young theme. The track before For the Turnstiles on On The Beach as covered rather gloriously The Byrds.

FAO Fagan did you ever hear this guy(s)? Martin Newell is his name, saw their reissues got a 8.2 on Pitchfork. Some amazing songs, all home-recorded and released on cassette at the time. MGMT did a cover of one of their songs recently. Canât get over how good some of the stuff is.

I did Thraw. I often listened to them on the John Peel show.
Ah theyâd be right up his street, yes. Youâd miss John Peel, so you would.
Anyone see Dexyâs Midnight Runners on Jools Holland this evening? Pretty fucking good they were.
I didnât Thraw but Kevin Rowlands had manymoments of genius.
Heâs still having them it seems. Heard two songs of their new album and they were excellent. Iâd say heâs still trying to prove a point after being beaten by The Be Sharps at the Grammies that time.
An Interference classic. Havenât heard this in years

There is a new series on BBC radio 4 about follow up albums. Documentary like with interviews with creators and bystanders. This week it was about Kevin Rowland. Canât remember the name of the programme, just heard an ad for it.
She is top class

I am nearly debating starting a new thread for her specifically
