Ted Lucas - It is so nice to get stoned
Lovely bit of loungecore here. Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass, Monday Monday.
Another lovely Herb Alpert tune and a cracking video to boot.
A critically destroyed album at the time which contributed to the authorâs drink and drug abuse which killed him at 47.
Then afterwards critics said that it was a brilliant album all along. Which I think too.

No Other
The Jesus and Mary Chain - Just Like Honey
I think My Bloody Valentine may have been ever so slightly influenced by them.
One of my all-time favourite live performances!
Arthur Lee â what a dude.
Love - A House is not a Motel (from Glastonbury 2003)
The lovely I Wonât Share You by the Smiths.
Complete with an autoharp by Johnny Marr

That was a far better album than given credit for. Suffered from being released the same week some British blonde died in a car crash, only one record was bought for the next few weeks in Britain and this one sank like a stone.
Kylie left the indie scene behind and pulled on some hotpants a few years later. The rest is history.

Sometime I want to go home and stay out of sight for a long time.
