This is probably the most stereotypically U2-sounding track ever. One that was often used as backing music by RTE sports programmes during the mid to late 1980s, cycling in particular, and, hereâs a spectacularly pointless bit of knowledge, Sky Channelâs coverage of Dutch football in 1987. I donât think Iâd heard this for over 25 years before about half an hour ago.
