I prefer Good News by The Waterboys from the same album. Smashing bass work.

The soundtrack of Sportsnight circa November 1993.

I’m listening to that album a bit lately, “In the Garage” is a big favourite of my youngest in particular. The lyrics resonate with kids I guess.

In the garage, I feel safe
No one cares about my ways
In the garage where I belong
No one hears me sing this song
In the garage

The Sweater Song is very similar to Nada Surf’s Popular which came a couple of years later. Both produced by Ric Ocasek.

Ah I love Nada Surf. Killians Red is a favourite of mine.

May be considered a guilty pleasure by the snobs but this is a cracking song

Out on tour with the Smashing Pumpkins
Nature kids, they don’t have no function
I don’t understand what they mean
And I could really give a fuck

Currently my young lad’s favourite song.

We’ll take that. It’s a cracker,

Maybe the line ‘it’s a sexually explicit kinda love affair’ isn’t the most appropriate.

The song of 2026 has landed…

They didn’t get invited back, boycotted actually by that prick Corgan.

Puts Tay Tay in the ha’penny place in every category.

Lana Del Rey - Dealer (Official Audio)

Telepopmusik - Breathe

Even if you don’t like her music, this is a great video. It’s an audiovisual epic if you like her music.
