One of the most conventional songs I’ve posted on here but it is smashing.

Brilliant tune. As good of a pop song as you’ll hear.

George Michael wrote and produced it - legend.

Watching the Wham Doc on Netflix. He was incredible. Careless Whisper is an phenomenal achiement

I watched it a few weeks back.

Interesting how Ridgely was originally seen as the talented one and then George went off into another stratosphere and Ridgely couldn’t keep up.

While obviously Ridgely being alive gives him an advantageous position in the documentary, he comes across very very well. And the fact that George’s audio backs it up speaks volumes. I liked that he kept referring to him by his real name.

The bit with his dad was lovely too.

Helluva story. 3 years. He kissed the sky and disappeared, letting George Michael soar. He was well taken care of too, he’s made over €10M from Careless Whispers I believe

Never broke George’s confidence about being gay. Decent bloke it would appear.

Never heard a peep from after either to any great degree. lived the dream and went off and lived his life and enjoyed the spoils of victory.

The shoot for Last Christmas looked hilarious

Just after watching it there. Ill have to seriously reappraise ridgely after that. George was effusive of his praise of him and he came across as a very well grounded, likeable lad

A thoroughly decent sort. He kept George’s secret all the way through. Brilliant stuff.

The producers kept feeding the wine into them, they were all trollied.

Excellent doc, like as been said, Ridgley comes across very well from it. Plus he sported the QPR Adidas kit with the Guinness logo - possibly the most ICONIC football strip from the 80’s.
