The Knife - Marble House

This song, and the album Silent Shout it comes from, is just incredible. It’s about caring for a loved one with Alzeimher’s or dementia set to pulsating electronic beats.

The best thing to come out of Sweden since Elin Nordegren.

#7504

We could have done without the synopsis.

#7505

Great shout. A constant album on rotation about a decade ago when I was spending what seemed like half my life driving. Here’s another of Sweden’s finest with a cover of arguably the Knife’s best track, in Dingle with a nice intro.

#7506

Another lovely track, from half of the Knife
Fever Ray: keep the Streets Empty for Me

#7507

Put on a dinosaur jr playlist today for a short walk, what a fucking band, two classics here

Freakscene

Feel the pain

#7508

That’s a terrific album.

#7509

Another Dinosaur jr related track
Sebadoh- not too amused

#7510

That’s another cracking album.

Barlow didn’t write that one. That was Jason Lowerstein.

#7511

Bakesale was a classic, dissapointed that it’s probably 20 years since I listened to it in its entirety but I only ever had a copied tape.

#7512

Fever Ray - Triangle Walks

#7513

Thanks for the synopsis Farmer, makes it sound more interesting, looking forward to giving this a listen.

These lads are endless.

In a way they remind me of Kings of Leon early days. Hopefully they don’t go tacky like KOL

#7522

ah they are savage relentless indeed the guitars together in that tune are unreal
