Been listening to these guys a bit after reading a lot about them here, hadn’t realised this was a cover when that other lad did it

The Knife- Heartbeats

#7752

If you haven’t listened to it much, put the their next album Silent Shout on repeat. It’s an absolute classic.

#7753

Just put them into Spotify for my very short work commute, Heartbeats, pass this on, silent shout and marble house are usually all I’d get going there and back

#7754

Their first album is well worth a listen as well, a grower.

Spirit - Nature’s Way

#7756

This tune is just incredible. It sounds like a very understated guitar alongside the electronics.

I don’t think many other of her songs, or the Knife’s songs, have that.

When Winter comes its time for Emancipator.

Doug Appling was 19 years of age when he produced this.

#7758

There’s a fair bit of guitar on their debut album, Reindeer for example.
Who knows though with them. I was hugely into Silent Shout the year it came out (fucking more than a decade ago), and it was years before I found out she did all the vocals. Always assumed he did the male sounding parts.
