I saw a few clips of Joyce promoting this and much of the conversation was about Morrissey.

In related news Morrissey has signed with Sire, after being label less for a few years. Apparently the first release will be Bonfire Of Teenagers which was recorded in 2020 but never released.
Hugely influential on the emerging Indie scene, not flashy but highly creative and innovative. Marr was the sound of the Smiths, absolutely no way he could have been replaced.

I’ve started this, just his upbringing so far, very strong on the Irish roots and visits to Mayo etc, refers to some of his friends as ‘English’ kids
Roy Keane loves Johnny Marr. That’s enough for me. Very underrated guitarist, when you compare his riffs to someone like the Egde for example it’s a different stratosphere
