Mark Allen could be the first Masters champion to have to qualify for the Crucible. He’s currently 16 in the rankings having exited in the Round of 16 to Mark Williams in China. Relying on results elsewhere for the rest of the tournament to cling on to the 16th and last seeded slot for the Crucible.
Tom Ford and Jack Lisowski both lost their quarter finals so I think that means Mark Allen holds onto his 16th ranking for the Crucible.

Selby has had a very poor season but seems to be finding some form now. Neil Robertson has had a difficult two or three years with a lot of personal issues but dropping out of the top 16 and missing the Masters seems to have been a big wake up call. Should be back in Top 10 now.

Jimmy leads 5-4 at the end of the session. He will have his work cut out as Craigie went well out in the China Open and should have beaten Neil Robertson in the last 16.
