Really hope he wins at Crucible. He’s the best player never to have won the World Championship.

What always sticks in my mind is Alex Higgins getting £12,000 when he won it in 1983 at the Guild Hall in Preston.
Was there the snooker equivalent of a pitch invasion after that or am I confusing it with another tournament from that time
