The snooker has been rather soothing through Covid.
It brings a great sense of serenity, the best in non-spectator sports*.

Selby should have won that 23rd frame for 14-9. Ronnie looked completely down and out If heād lost that one, Iād say the session would have ended 15-9. If Ronnie won this last frame and was only 13-11 behind, heād really have got out of jail here. Ronnie has a 40 point lead. That double to the middle there on the red after running out of position was kamikaze stuff and lucky to get away with it.
Ronnie in again after a bad safety shot from Selby. He should finish it off here. Selby feeling the pressure last two frames.

Selby has let Ronnie off the hook here. Ronnie looked out of sorts for most of the morning. Ronnie will be delighted to have shared that session and only trail by 11-13.

Ronnie looked dead and buried. Selby will be gutted. If Ronnie starts well tonight, game on. At least we have a session to look forward to.
Other semi has been of a way higher standard imho. This has been littered with mistakes.

the other match is the equivalent of watching aston villa versus crewe whereas this is like watching man city versus chelsea!
Iād like to see Anthony McGill win it out, must be some Irish heritage there from the Glaswegian.
Thereās great ebb and flow to these long matches with certain frames taking on huge significance. Thought the last Frame on Wednesday night, Frame 8 was a big frame. Selby wasnāt at it first session, Ronnie should have won that last Frame for 6-2. If he had, he could have got away. Selby sneaked it and Iād say was delighted to be only trailing 3-5 after playing so poorly. Same with that Frame 23, role reversal, it would have been a knock out blow if Selby had gone 14-9 up.
