The Snooker Thread (Part 1)

A broken man.

Selby should know better.

Thanks CP. Selby has casually forgotten the first session where he he should have been 6-2 down and possibly 7-1.

I can understand it as he was still very raw and fuming after losing a match he should have won. Id imagine and hope that upon reflection, he will regret it.

Compare it to the Mcgill interview, where he was very gracious.

Agree mate. Immediate post match interviews are for the tv companies who pay the money. Not easy for the defeated player. As you said McGill handled himself alot better than Selby.

It has been an absolutely brilliant championship

I really hope Ronnie loses in the final. Weā€™ll see what seething is really like in a post match interview.

Iā€™ve no idea if Wilson has a sport psychologist. If he doesnā€™t, it could be a really unpleasant experience for him

Ronnie will win with a session to spare.

Money for Wilson already. Handicap has moved from 4.5 to 3.5

He took 2 or 3 mins humming and hawing after Ronnie missed the pink when it was blatantly obvious that he was going to get Ronnie to play it again. Was just trying to get under Ronnieā€™s skin and somehwat backfired because Ronnie started going for everything.

Ah wouldnā€™t blame him for that. That was game management. Peter Ebdon was the same.

On reflection, I think tonight was one of Ronnieā€™s greatest victories

What a knob

Let it be is my advice

Snooker means a lot to him.

He was pretty much flawless for 2 and a half frames with his back to the wall. He looked gone at 16-14. Heā€™s just mental, just donā€™t what youā€™re going to get with him which makes it so interesting.

Just seen the last frame of Wilson v McGill again there on Eurosport. Absolutely mental.

Incredible sport

Is it played in Poland much ??

Not much. There is one club in Krakow that I know of. Been meaning to call in there for years.

Jack Lisowski would want to start winning a bit to popularise itā€™s over there.
