The Snooker Thread (Part 1)

Magic from Ronnie

Ronnie 10-6 Shaun

10-6 Ronnie. Huge frame that to win,Murphy misses green with the rest and Ronnie comes in to clear. Could have been going in to tomorrow’s session 9-7 down…massive frame to win.

Ding leads Liang 9-7 at the end of the session, it really should be level. Liang was very unlucky, he’s got the game to be a future world champion, a wonderfully polished Cueman.

Wilson leads Bingham 12-10 on other table and Bingham needs 2 snookers in this frame, he’s toast.

Liang is class.

All those Chinese fellas are very similar looking

Has the game but always seems to have sudden lapses in concentration during games.

Shot of Championship tied up already.

There’s a documentary about the Crucible on BBC2 tomorrow night to mark the 40th anniversay of it’s hosting the worlds. Presented by Steve Davis.

Vintage Ronnie here, no one can touch him when he’s in the mood

Ronnie has beaten Shaun 13-7

The forum’s favourite has been in tremendous form this morning. He has won the first 3 frames and is in control of the 4th.

He would really enjoy a few Celtic emojis

Wonderful snooker from the great Ronnie O’Sullivan. The Jeremy Corbyn supporter is in great form and who’d bet against him adding a sixth world title.

Amusing how a loathsome character like the disgraced match fixer John Higgins could be classed as a forum favourite.

Probably something to do with supporting Glasgow Celtic and all the kudos that comes with that from the Pretend IRA IFSC brigade.

very well said, a cheat, a fraud and celtic supporter, he ticks all the boxes for being a pretend ira favourite alright

That sounds like a cracking all-Ireland clash.

Hopefully snooker will continue to be the winner, but let’s also hope that in another, more accurate way, John will be the winner in this best of 32 match.

Allen has reduced the deficit to 7-6

Mark Allen is playing some tremendous snooker
