The stalker is back - part 2

He was in Gowran with Henry Shefflin yesterday.

How did the shoulder look?

Dex has taken Uni by storm.

Chaps, I missed the episodes last Thursday and Friday - is it worth my while watching them or is it safe to skip ahead and catch this evening’s one?

Obviously bearing in mind we all know how difficult it is to figure out what’s going on if you miss some action.

What the fuck. Home and Away delayed for 30 minutes due to RTE showing horse beating.

Take tomorrow off and watch it at half one.

Then sit at home and back horses for the afternoon. Its tremendous fun.

This Romeo not telling his wife that he is cancer while having chemo and her dad and brother working in the hospital storyline is starting to vex me.

Heath going to a counsellor too for “D’arce”.

Not plausible. Poor episode by The Bay’s standards.

Tough viewing these days as the inevitable passing of Romeo nears. Hope you are getting through this painful period okay Bandage. #bestrong4indi

It’s very annoying and frustrating, carryharry. Ridiculous and unbelieveable that he hasn’t told her and it’s therefore a shit storyline.

I don’t think you are dealing with this too well. It will soon be over.

#indialwayshasasolution

#allgonnabeok

Amazing that he wouldn’t share something like that with his wife.

On a happier note, remember when that annoying prick Flynn died of cancer? That was great.

A poem:

Dr Sid Walker is leaving Home & Away
It’s terribly sad news, I only found out today
A wonderful doctor who’ll be impossible to replace
From common colds to cancer, his expertise was ace
He arrived at the farmhouse with young Indi & Dex
Two teenage children born after sex with his ex
Indi married Romeo while still attending school
It happens too often in the bay as a general rule
But Sid was soon welcoming another house guest
A second daughter Sasha, confirmed via paternity test
She began dating her schoolmate Stu
Who didn’t take long to beat her black and blue
Sid found out and gave Stu a retaliatory hiding
To the annoyance of Roo so Sid she stopped riding
Before Mr Stewart’s daughter, there was Marilyn too
But Sid’s disappointment was greater when it ended with Roo
Stu meanwhile continued to fill Sasha with dread
Until she killed him stone dead, smacking a brick off his head
Criminal proceedings were quick to commence
But Sasha earned a fortunate reprieve citing self defence
Further drama followed with Dex’s car smash
Sid saved his life after a mad hospital dash
Brain trauma for Dex meant it was hard to cope at the start
Though it allowed Dr Walker to give his son’s female physio a dart
Romeo’s secret cancer battle took quite a serious toll on Sid
His son-in-law’s illness was terminal but tell Indi he never did
So the Walkers have experienced a tumultuous 4 years
Marriage, death, sickness, joy, pride and tears
But now it’s time for the character Sid to pursue other dreams
Because of a series of rows with writers behind the scenes
He’s been a great guy, what acting ability he’s shown
Rob Mammone aka Dr Sid - you’ll never walk(er) alone

Bando, you artistic aul cunt!

What are we going to do to commemorate Gina. :frowning: The show is taking its toll recently.

The Gina Palmer death scene was majestically written, directed and acted. Absolutely captivating Australian drama.

I loved that Gina saw her own image, outline or whatever you’d call it on the road yet continued to drive. She saw herself in the distance a second time - call it a premonition or foreboding if you will - and still she drove on despite her obvious discomfort. Gina even saw her image in front of her on the road for a third time, again pleading with her and exhorting her to stop driving. Still the Summer Bay High School principal bravely tried to drive on to the court appointment to confirm her and John’s adoption of young Jett.

There was nothing she wanted more than to adopt the former teen tearaway. It was only when she saw the final image in front of her on the road - not just Gina herself - but all three of them standing together in the distance, like the family they were about to become, calling on her to stop that her body abruptly gave up. The car came to a half and Gina Palmer died.

What a magnificent piece of writing. Gina trying so hard to fight through the pain to get the son she so dearly wanted only to meet the prospect of death head on. She was willing to risk her own life but it was only when she was faced with the prospect of losing John and Jett too that she stopped. It was almost as if she sacrificed herself to save them.

A principal with principles. She never became Jett’s mother but she loved that boy like only a mother could.

Gina Palmer RIP.

A compelling read. Despite the death of Gina I still cannot warm that little bollix Jett. Who is this new one Brax is banging and what is her back story? who is it that keeps calling her?
