The stalker is back - part 2

Any chance of a synopsis of yesterday’s episode. I recorded it but deleted it by mistake before watching it.

Trying to prepare for a job interview here and then you pull this request out of the bag.

It was fairly rubbish. For some inexplicable reason they transferred Johnny to the same prison as Ric, the person who allegedly killed his brother. Johnny and his gang were acting menacingly towards Ric and threatening them. Ric saw a lad give Johnny a bag of drugs and Johnny came over and warned Ric not to say anything. Then there was a search of cells where drugs were found in the possession of one of the gang and so they thought Ric had snitched even though he didn’t. They came to attack Ric in his cell then as it ended I think.

The other thing was Martha went off the rails - drinking and stuff. Jack tried to reason with her and talk to her but she wouldn’t listen. He felt she was hiding her real feelings about having the abortion and went over to try talking to her again and to see was she okay. She then blurted out that he should mind his own business and she doesn’t regret having an abortion. Alf and Sal heard this and were very shocked.

That was about it.

Shocking episode today. Jack - Martha etc. who gives a shit?

Lucas finally stuck Belle tonight. Still obvious she prefers Drew though. If I was that way inclined I must say it’d be a tough choice between Bob Morley and Rhys Wakefield.

This is a truly ridiculous storyline with Amanda’s sister.

Absolute rubbish and it’s ruining the show.

I was actually semi-attracted to Kelly until she was sitting on the couch there last week with her legs apart. It was a real man pose, hideously unattractive and sloppy on Cameron Welsh and his team’s part to allow it into the show.

Good call by susanb31 a number of weeks/months ago to point out that things were going to go wrong for Martha and she’d end up trying to sabotage Jack’s relationship.

Poor show at the moment though, reflected in the fact that I recorded it at the weekend and then chose to watch Liverpool vs Charlton highlights on Sunday night instead. Robbie Fowler of old would’ve had a hattrick at least, alas not to be. It was great to have him back and best of luck in his future endeavours. Think he’ll retire tbh as I don’t think he’ll want to leave England, won’t be good enough for EPL football and won’t want to play Championship football. I could be wrong but that’s pretty rare in fairness.

Attracted to Kelly? I think she’s hideous myself. I remember the manly pose episode too - never nice to see.

cc, what was the name of that website where you can get Sally posters and stuff?

Episodes like today’s are why I live and breathe Home and Away. Welcome home from prison Mr 'Ric Dalby - it’s like you’ve never been away.

While Peter Baker and Senior Constable Darren McGrath were very effective and efficient in clearing 'Ric’s name I don’t want to laud them with feint praise. That’s because it was Matilda Hunter’s ingenious plan that saw the whole case against 'Ric unravel.

I made my peace with Matilda today - I found it hard to forgive her for initially doubting 'Ric’s innocence when Rocco was attacked. Surely she should realise by now that young Dalby is as honest as the day is long. 'Ric makes plenty of mistakes (didn’t we all at his age?) but the common character trait of the kid is honesty - he owns up straight away when he’s in the wrong. - and once he said he had nothing to do with the attack on Rocco then I believed him. It was unfortunate that Matilda couldn’t do likewise.

But it seems wrong to be concentrating on that after such a positive ending to a gripping storyline. Bravo to all who were involved. Bravo indeed.

Mrs Rock recorded Desperate Housewives last night and left the recorded on Channel 4 instead of RT 2. Result: I missed Home and Away and I am not happy.

What a terrible, terrible error.

You missed an absolute cracker.

I loved home and away the past two days. Absolutely quality episodes lets just hope Ric doesnt disappear into the background again now that he was been rightfully cleared. Mattie was brilliant my favourite line was when Cassie was all who can think like a criminal and Mattie says I have a plan loved it.

The only downside to yesterdays episode was Sally waiting at home folding the clothes while the rest rushed of to the station to speak to peter. Why she was not at the station with them anxious to here the news first hand I couldnt understand. Who was to blame for this Brad upstairs having a nap like the granddad he is. He will be the ruination of Sally.

I can kind of understand Sally waiting behind to fold clothes - it’s the Pippa way of doing things. Is that true about Brad being upstairs though? That’s outrageous.

What exactly did they do to get 'Ric out?

Yeah he came down the stairs yawning and he did actually say how he was so tired he had to have a nap. Why he didnt go home to his own place I cant understand. If sally stayed behind on her own it probably wouldnt have annoyed me as much but it felt like it was to wait for granddad to wake up as she then filled him in on all the details of Matties plan.

The guy Ric bribed followed Johnny after his talk with the guard and he heard who he called and he told Ric. Johnny had phone one of the gang members and warned him to keep his mouth shut. Alf and Mattie and the rest all barged into the police station and demanded to speak to Peter. They gave him the name of the gang member Peter was very reluctant at first to help he said ric was tried and convicted. But Alf gave him an impressive speech about he told Peter Ric was innocent all along and Peter told him they could only follow the evidence and that they are here giving them new evidence so what is peter going to do.

McGrath and Peter are then walking up to some house and McGrath says they have nothing to arrest him for and peter says outstanding speeding tickets. When they knock on the door the gang member makes a run for it. They search the house and find a torn sleeve with blood on it. The questioning of the guy at the police station was a bit suspect as they really had nothing to go on and in the end it seemed it was just the guys nerves couldnt hold out so he confessed.

Great scene at the end with Ric walking out of the prison and everyone waiting for him outside they had a lovely song playing.

Thanks Westy - I’ll probably watch it during the omnibus but I’m raging with Mrs Rock for making me miss it last night. There are some things relationships don’t recover from.

Great episode today. Get it watched.

Any views on Kim’s new hair cut?

yeah, pretty hot

What’s the story today - why no episode? Can’t think of anything this week to get in the way of the coverage.

its back tomorrow. they said that on fri but i dont know the reason for not showing today.
