ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Ben Roethlisberger (knee) will participate in 7-on-7 drills at Wednesday’s practice.
Big Ben continues to “want to play” Week 6 against the Cardinals. He’s fine to throw, but the Steelers remain concerned about his ability to move laterally in the pocket. If it were up to Roethlisberger, he’d play Sunday, but coach Mike Tomlin and the training staff hold the final word. Michael Vick was horrific for about 85 percent of the Week 5 win over the Chargers and has been a serious drain on Antonio Brown. Getting Roethlisberger back will boost the entire offense.
That’s the second best news I’ve had today…winning… If I can cheat my way through another victory it will be the best of weeks…I must fiddle around with league settings to ensure victory.
I set Devonta Freeman, Julio Jones and Willie Snead a combined target of 65 points last night. I told them I didn’t care how they did it as long as they reached that mark. The fuckers came back with 51 points and it could have been worse but for Freeman’s garbage time points.
He was on my radar pre-draft as a backup RB / potential flex option with breakout potential but I think he was doubtful for week 1 and got limited snaps. I started Lamar Miller (bust) and Joseph Randle (strong Dallas O line) as my RBs but Freeman has been brilliant since week 3.
