The Sullied Segunda 15/16

Actually it goes on head to head record first.

It will be head to head over your rival, pal…just beat them and you’ll be fine.

Two go down? It should only be one, like the old GM Vauxhall Conference (or whatever it’s called nowadays) when only one got into the league proper. Do we really have room for two turds in the Segunda. We already made room for Bandage

Seconded and passed

Thanks for the heads up @maroonandwhite just saw that myself… it’s going to be hard for the SECO from here on in…

The 3 waiver wire players I targeted were [redacted]. I got none of them.

The muck keep picking up the best waivers yet are unable to generate results…That’s what makes us winners, mate. Our ability to extract maximum effort from meagre means is a thing of beauty… particularly in my own case. I don’t like to bring up the fact that i’m nearly always last on waivers, but when you see cunts like @croppy_boy, @maroonandwhite and @Lazarus getting their choice of players every week and still losing it instils a sense of pride and achievement at what i’ve been able to do on a shoe string.

I’m open to offers- I’d love for your storied franchise to make the play-offs, pal.

Save your sense of over-entitlement and begrudgery for when you move to Cork

I’ll be in Ballybofey tomorrow if you want to meet up for a few scoops, pal?

I’d love to pal but I’m spending my time conducting player research so I can accumulate guys with good match ups in the play off weeks as I’ve timed my run perfectly.

Make sure you have someone else start your car for you when you’re up here though. Better safe than sorry.

+1, mate. I echo everything you said above. No doubt you, like me, have a couple of irons in the fire too.

@Gman, is it fair to type that Barnidge is undroppable as my tight end tonight despite the fact it’ll be Manziel under centre rather than McCown?

Manziel was utter shit the last time he faced the Bengals. I cant understand why they have him in now. I’d drop any wideout, at least with a tight end he is likely to be a safety blanket for him. But the Bengals just conceded 10 points to a fair better Steelers team last week, and in spite of this Heath Miller had 100 odd yards. Last year Manziel didnt make any completion to a tight end in the corresponding fixture and he threw only 3 completions to him in the first game of the year, and once in the second game. I wouldnt trust Manziel, if you have better options, I’d go with that. The only level of comfort is that he will have to air it out when they are behind, and the Bengals will cover deep and wide, so he might get a lot of garbage time play.

Thanks for your comprehensive and informative analysis, mate. Definitely plenty of cons in there but I’m edging towards sticking with him for the two reasons you mention - safety blanket and potential garbage time benefits. I don’t have another match-fit tight end - I picked up the Bucs chap Seferian-What’s His Name who’s back in training again but mainly to cover Barnidge’s bye in a few weeks.

@Gman, I don’t want to be swayed purely by Eli Manning throwing 6 TDs last weekend but I’m considering starting him @Tampa Bay in place of Aaron Rodgers @Carolina. Any thoughts? Rodgers is statistically much stronger at home and Carolina have a good D. He wasn’t great at Denver last week. On the other hand, Manning is capable of going from the sublime to the ridiculous from week to week.

FAO @count_of_monte_crist you might want to consider starting a kicker against me

That’s a tricky one alright. I’d probably go for Rodgers.

its gonna be close between me and graham (dwyer?)
