Congratulations to Nadal on his win. Of the 128 players who went to the starting gun a fortnight ago, he has been a deserved winner.
Some lad on the after match analysis on Eurosport just had an oxymoron, on talking about the crowd giving medvedev grief he said in the years to come medvedev will be a crowd favourite whether they like it or not 
What a fitting finale to a tournament that has captivated the world! Delighted for Rafa, Medvedev relished in the villain role a little too much and the Melbournians didn’t appreciate that.
