The perfect storm of post-racing heartburn and occasional burst of DT’s. I will be living a more thoughtful, monastic existence in the coming weeks

Gas all the lads on here talking about “teething” when it doesn’t actually exist.

I’ll smash you

What’s this, pal?

Smash away pal. Your anger, like your belief for the reason for your lack of sleep, is misplaced.

No such thing as teething pal, babies are crying for some other reason, but it ain’t teething. A consultant of some sort who specialises in babies appears to have proved it.

Or the mugs that think they can store up sleep before a child is born.

But teeth growing up through gums would be painful, no?

Didn’t you hear mate? A consultant who specialises in babies appears to have proved it. Who the fuck are you to question him?

Would the actual reason they are crying be the fact that they are unhappy with the gender they were born as?

Should the parents give into the baby’s cries for a sex change operation?

Someday, you’ll have them pal… and when that day comes and that bump above your vagina turns into a screaming monster you’ll think of us.

Hell, keep me posted… I’ll even call around and set off some fire works in your lawn.

No.

Think about it, did it hurt when your adult teeth grew down through your guns and pushed baby teeth out? Nope. Gums are designed that way, to accommodate that. Especially with growth of baby teeth which have plenty of space to grow and nothing to push out. Wisdom teeth hurt because they impact on adult teeth and there can be a lack of space to accommodate them.

Just stop typing. Please.

My youngest child would disagree with you :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

FOAD

Do you believe everything you read in the paper?

Do I believe consultant paediatrician dentists over you? Yes.

That wasn’t the question!

It’s certainly relevant mate. And I’ll be fucked if I’m letting that cunt @Mac set the agenda around here.

I think you and the sub-editor have missed the point there. She’s not saying there are no symptoms or that it doesn’t exist, just that parents attribute every symptom to teething which can be dangerous
